Distribucija se isti\u010de jednostavnim i korisni\u010dki prijateljskim procesom instalacije, podr\u0161kom za automatsko prepoznavanje hardvera i instalacijom potrebnih drajvera. Manjaro dolazi u obliku live izdanja s grafi\u010dkim okru\u017eenjima KDE (2.7 GB), GNOME (2.6 GB) i Xfce (2.4 GB). Uz sudjelovanje zajednice, dodatno se razvijaju izdanja s Budgie, Cinnamon, Deepin, LXDE, LXQt, MATE i i3.    <\/p>\n<p>Za upravljanje repozitorijima u Manjaru koristi se vlastiti alat BoxIt, dizajniran po uzoru na Git. Repozitorij se odr\u017eava prema principu kontinuirane integracije a\u017euriranja (rolling), no nove verzije prolaze dodatnu fazu stabilizacije. Osim vlastitog repozitorija, podr\u017eava se i kori\u0161tenje AUR (Arch User Repository) repozitorija. Distribucija je opremljena grafi\u010dkim instalaterom i grafi\u010dkim su\u010deljem za pode\u0161avanje sustava.       <\/p>\n<p>Glavne novine:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> U instalateru Calamares dodana je mogu\u0107nost odabira datote\u010dnog sustava prilikom automatskog particioniranja i pobolj\u0161ana podr\u0161ka za Btrfs. Tamo je uklju\u010dena mogu\u0107nost smje\u0161tanja swap datoteka u Btrfs, a postavke subvolumena pobolj\u0161ane su radi pojednostavljenja vra\u0107anja promjena i smanjenja potro\u0161nje prostora snapshottima.\n<li class=\"l\"> Izdanja zasnovana na GNOME-u a\u017eurirana su na GNOME 41.2, a raspored elemenata na ekranu prilago\u0111en je zadanim postavkama GNOME-a. Za one koji preferiraju stari vertikalni raspored radne povr\u0161ine omogu\u0107eno je vra\u0107anje starih postavki putem gnome-layout-switcher. Za Firefox je po defaultu omogu\u0107ena GNOME tema, koju tako\u0111er mo\u017eete zamijeniti klasi\u010dnim izgledom Firefox-a putem gnome-layout-switcher.\n<li class=\"l\"> Izdanja zasnovana na KDE-u a\u017eurirana su na KDE Plasma 5.23, KDE Frameworks 5.88 i KDE Gears 21.12. Tema su\u010delja pribli\u017eena je osnovnoj temi Breeze. Osigurano je isticanje aktivnih elemenata u dijalo\u0161kim prozorima kada prozor dobije fokus, pove\u0107ana je veli\u010dina traka za pomicanje, promijenjen je dizajn prekida\u010da.
