Korisni\u010dko okru\u017eenje Chrome OS je ograni\u010deno na web preglednik, dok su umjesto standardnih aplikacija kori\u0161tene web aplikacije, no Chrome OS uklju\u010duje potpuno funkcionalno vi\u0161ewindow su\u010delje, radnu povr\u0161inu i tra\u017eilicu. Izdanje Chrome OS 98 dostupno je za ve\u0107inu trenutno dostupnih modela Chromebook. Entuzijasti su izradili neformalne verzije za obi\u010dne ra\u010dunala s x86, x86_64 i ARM procesorima. Izvorni kodovi su dostupni pod slobodnom licencom Apache 2.0.     <\/p>\n<p>Glavne promjene u Chrome OS 98:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Dodane su nove tipkovne pre\u010dice za brzo prebacivanje izme\u0111u virtualnih radnih povr\u0161ina \u2014 \u201eShift + Pretra\u017ei + N\u201c, gdje je N \u2014 broj radne povr\u0161ine.\n<li class=\"l\"> U postavke snimanja zaslona dodana je tipka \u201eSpremi\u201c za pohranu snimaka ili snimki zaslona u bilo kojem lokalnom direktoriju ili na Google Drive.\n<li class=\"l\"> Dodano je opcija oporavka putem mre\u017ee (NBR, Network Based Recovery), koja omogu\u0107uje instalaciju nove verzije Chrome OS-a i a\u017euriranje firmvera u slu\u010daju o\u0161te\u0107enja sustava i nemogu\u0107nosti pokretanja.\n<li class=\"l\"> Ispravljene su specifi\u010dne ranjivosti za Chrome OS, uklju\u010duju\u0107i Use-after-free ranjivosti u sustavu ispisa, Sharesheet i Exo, kao i prekomjerno punjenje u panelu zadataka (Shelf).
