Distribucija se isti\u010de pove\u0107anim zahtevima za bezbednost i sagra\u0111ena je uz za\u0161titu SSP (Stack Smashing Protection). Kao sistem inicijalizacije koristi se OpenRC, a za upravljanje paketima koristi se vlastiti upravitelj paketa apk. Alpine se koristi za izradu slu\u017ebenih slika kontejnera Docker i koristi se u projektu PostmarketOS. Bootabilni iso-u\u010ditci (x86_64, x86, armhf, aarch64, armv7, ppc64le, s390x) pripremljeni su u \u0161est varijanti: standardnoj (207 MB), s kernelom bez zakrpa (204 MB), pro\u0161irenoj (957 MB), za <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/hr\/vps\/\"   title=\"virtualnih ma\u0161ina\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"2067\">virtualnih ma\u0161ina<\/a> (60 MB) i za hipervizor Xen (239 MB).     <\/p>\n<p>U novom izdanju:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Kernel Linuxa a\u017euriran je na verziju 6.6 (u prethodnoj verziji isporu\u010den je kernel 6.1).\n<li class=\"l\"> A\u017eurirane su verzije paketa, izme\u0111u ostalog dostupni su izdanja GCC 13.2, LLVM 17, GNOME 45, LXQt 1.4, KDE Applications 23.08, KDE Frameworks 5.112, Perl 5.38, Xen 4.18, PostgreSQL 16, Node.js 20.10, Ceph 18.2, Go 1.21, OpenJDK 21, PHP 8.3, Erlang 26, Rust 1.72, yggdrasil 0.5, PipeWire 1.0.0,\n<li class=\"l\"> Dodana je podr\u0161ka za Raspberry Pi 5.\n<li class=\"l\"> Kao backend za iptables, po defaultu se koristi paket iptables-nft.\n<li class=\"l\"> Paketi s kernelom za Raspberry Pi 2 (linux-rpi2) i Raspberry Pi 4 (linux-rpi4) spojeni su u jedan paket linux-rpi.\n<li class=\"l\"> Direktorij s paketima Python ozna\u010den je kao upravljan vanjskim alatima (alat pip vi\u0161e ne\u0107e mo\u0107i instalirati pakete u sistemski katalog \u010diji sadr\u017eaj upravlja upravitelj paketa apk).
