Radovi na projektu <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/tildearrow\/kwin-lowlatency\">distribuiraju se<\/a><\/noindex> pod GPLv2 licencom.<br \/>\nZa Arch Linux u AUR-u je dostupan gotov PKGBUILD. Uklju\u010divanje u Gentoo se priprema kao opcija za kompajliranje KWin-a sa lowlatency zakrpama.<\/p>\n<p>Novo izdanje se izdvaja podr\u0161kom za sisteme sa NVIDIA grafi\u010dkim karticama. DRM VBlank kod je zamenjen kori\u0161\u0107enjem glXWaitVideoSync kako bi se obezbedila za\u0161tita od pojave kidanja (tearing) prilikom izlaza, bez negativnog uticaja na brzinu odziva. Za\u0161tita od kidanja u KWin-u implementirana je kori\u0161\u0107enjem tajmera i mo\u017ee dovesti do velikih ka\u0161njenja (do 50ms) izlaza i, kao posledica, do usporene reakcije prilikom unosa.<\/p>\n<p>Dodane su dodatne postavke (Sistemske postavke &gt; Prikaz i monitor &gt; Kompozitor) koje omogu\u0107uju postizanje optimalne ravnote\u017ee izme\u0111u reakcije i funkcionalnosti. Podr\u0161ka za linearne animacije je prema zadanim postavkama isklju\u010dena (mo\u017ee se ponovno aktivirati u postavkama). Dodan je na\u010din isklju\u010divanja preusmjeravanja prikaza preko cijelog zaslona putem prolaznog predmemoriranja (<noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/tildearrow\/kwin-lowlatency\/blob\/Plasma\/5.15\/unredirect.md\">unredirected fullscreen<\/a><\/noindex>), koji omogu\u0107uje pove\u0107anje performansi aplikacija u
