Izdavanje a\u017euriranja za granu 9.4 <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.postgresql.org\/support\/versioning\/\">\u0107e trajati<\/a><\/noindex>   do prosinca 2019., 9.5 do sije\u010dnja 2021., 9.6 \u2014 do rujna 2021. godine, 10 \u2014 do listopada 2022. godine, 11 \u2014 do studenog 2023. godine. <\/p>\n<p>U novim verzijama ispravljeno je 25 gre\u0161aka i otklonjena ranjivost (CVE-2019-10164) koja mo\u017ee dovesti do prelivanja bafera prilikom promjene lozinke od strane korisnika. Ova ranjivost omogu\u0107ava lokalnom napada\u010du s pristupom PostgreSQL-u da putem postavljanja vrlo duga\u010dke lozinke izvr\u0161i svoj kod s pravima korisnika pod kojim se pokre\u0107e DBMS. Osim toga, ranjivost se mo\u017ee iskoristiti na strani korisnika tokom SCRAM autentifikacije klijenta zasnovanog na libpq, kada korisnik pristupa serveru PostgreSQL koji kontrolira napada\u010d.
