Pomo\u0107u JPype-a iz Pythona mogu se koristiti Java specifi\u010dne biblioteke, stvaraju\u0107i hibridne aplikacije koje kombinuju kod napisan u Javi i Pythonu. Kod projekta se distribuira pod Apache 2.0 licencom.<\/p>\n<p>Za razliku od Jythona, integracija s Javom ne ostvaruje se putem stvaranja verzije Pythona za JVM, ve\u0107 kroz interakciju na nivou obe virtuelne ma\u0161ine, koriste\u0107i deljenu memoriju. Predlo\u017eeni pristup ne samo da omogu\u0107ava postizanje dobre performanse, ve\u0107 i pru\u017ea pristup svim CPython i Java bibliotekama. U novom izdanju potpuno je ponovo napisan kod osnovnog modula, dodana je podr\u0161ka<br \/>\nunattached niti, pobolj\u0161ana je sigurnost, omogu\u0107ena je konverzija Java izuzetaka u Python
