Distribucija se pozicionira kao ne zahtjevna prema hardverskim resursima i nudi klasi\u010dni izgled radne povr\u0161ine. Veli\u010dina <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/sourceforge.net\/projects\/q4os\/files\/stable\/\">izvornog imid\u017ea<\/a><\/noindex> 669 MB (x86_64, i386). Q4OS 3.8 svrstan je u kategoriju izdanja s dugotrajnom podr\u0161kom, a a\u017euriranja \u0107e se formirati najmanje 5 godina.<\/p>\n<p>U sastavu se nalazi nekoliko aplikacija vlastitog razvoja, uklju\u010duju\u0107i 'Desktop profiler' za brzu instalaciju tematskih paketa softvera, 'Setup utility' za instalaciju vanjskih aplikacija, 'Welcome Screen' za pojednostavljenje po\u010detnog pode\u0161avanja, skripte za instalaciju alternativnih okru\u017eenja LXQT, Xfce i LXDE.<\/p>\n<p>U novom izdanju izvr\u0161en je prijelaz na paketsku bazu Debian 10 'Buster' i radnu povr\u0161inu KDE Plasma 5.14. Opcionalno je dostupno okru\u017eenje Trinity 14.0.6.  <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=50426\">koje<\/a><\/noindex> nastavlja razvoj KDE 3.5.x i Qt 3. Va\u017ena zna\u010dajka Q4OS distribucije je mogu\u0107nost su\u017eivota KDE Plasma i Trinity okru\u017eenja uz njihovu istovremenu instalaciju.
