Najzanimljivija promjena bila je pomak jezika Python na drugo mjesto na ljestvici popularnosti programskih jezika koji se koriste na GitHubu. Jezik Java pao je na tre\u0107e mjesto. Lider i dalje ostaje JavaScript. PHP je zadr\u017eao svoju poziciju na \u010detvrtom mjestu. Jezik C++ pomjeren je s petog mjesta na jezik C#, dok je jezik C pomjeren s osmog mjesta na Shell skripte. Najve\u0107a dinamika rasta broja sudionika zabilje\u017eena je za jezike Dart i Rust.<\/p>\n<p><center><noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/pics_base\/0_1573187764.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Python je pretekao Javu po broju projekata na GitHubu\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/445a0c8416358e1f4b9099798d071704.jpeg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/a><\/noindex><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Druge tendencije:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> GitHubova publika je porasla za 10 milijuna korisnika i dosegnula 41 milijun (pro\u0161le godine bilo je 31 milijun, a pretpro\u0161le &#8212; 24 milijuna).\n<li class=\"l\"> Tokom godine stvoreno je 44 miliona novih repozitorija, dok je broj prvih repozitorija koje su stvorili novi developeri pove\u0107an za 44%. 1.3 miliona novih developera sudjelovalo je u razvoju i prenijelo svoje promjene na otvorene projekte.\n<li class=\"l\"> Broj organizacija predstavljenih na GitHub-u pove\u0107ao se s 2.1 na 2.9 miliona.\n<li class=\"l\"> Tokom godine napravljeno je 87 miliona pull zahtjeva i zatvoreno 20 miliona obavijesti o problemima.\n<li class=\"l\"> U Sjedinjenim Dr\u017eavama nalazi se oko 20% developera predstavljenih na GitHub-u. Iz drugih zemalja, daleko prednja\u010di Kina, a slijede Indija, Njema\u010dka, Rusija je na 8. mjestu, a Ukrajina na 15.\n<p><center><noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/pics_base\/0_1573188776.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Python je pretekao Javu po broju projekata na GitHubu\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/a7ebf0a392e3b0232972bb5daf06126d.jpeg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/a><\/noindex><\/center><\/p>\n<li class=\"l\"> Vi\u0161e od 3.6 miliona repozitorija ima zavisnosti na 50 najpopularnijih otvorenih projekata. Na primjer, milioni zavisnosti imaju projekti kao \u0161to su <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/rails\/rails\">rails<\/a><\/noindex>, <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/facebook\/jest\">jest<\/a><\/noindex> i <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/axios\/axios\">axios<\/a><\/noindex>. Prosje\u010dan broj zavisnosti po repozitoriju iznosi 203. Najve\u0107i broj zavisnosti zabilje\u017een je za NPM pakete (3.5 miliona), RubyGems (737 hiljada), Maven (167 hiljada), NuGet (94 hiljade) i pip (78 hiljada).\n<li class=\"l\"> Repozitorij s najve\u0107im brojem sudionika ostaje Visual Studio Code, koji razvija kompanija Microsoft. Slijede azure-docs (14 hiljada) i Flutter (13 hiljada).
