{"id":79051,"date":"2020-04-23T19:43:32","date_gmt":"2020-04-23T17:43:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/blog\/novosti-interneta\/novyj-metod-upravleniya-pamyatyu-ot-facebook"},"modified":"2020-04-23T19:43:32","modified_gmt":"2020-04-23T17:43:32","slug":"novyj-metod-upravleniya-pamyatyu-ot-facebook","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/hr\/blog\/news\/novyj-metod-upravleniya-pamyatyu-ot-facebook","title":{"rendered":"Nova metoda upravljanja memorijom od Facebooka","gt_translate_keys":[{"key":"rendered","format":"text"}]},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jedan od \u010dlanova tima za razvoj dru\u0161tvene mre\u017ee <strong>Facebook<\/strong>, <strong>Roman Gu\u0161\u010din<\/strong>, predlo\u017eio je u e-poruci programera set <strong>zakrpa za Linux jezgro<\/strong>, usmjerenih na pobolj\u0161anje upravljanja memorijom putem implementacije novog kontrolera za upravljanje njome \u2014  <strong>slab (kontroler slab memorije)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Distribucija slab<\/strong> \u2014 to je mehanizam za upravljanje memorijom koji je namijenjen za u\u010dinkovitije raspodjeljivanje memorije i uklanjanje zna\u010dajne fragmentacije. Osnova ovog algoritma je zadr\u017eavanje dodijeljene memorije koja sadr\u017ei objekt odre\u0111enog tipa, te ponovna upotreba te memorije prilikom sljede\u0107e dodjele za objekt istog tipa. Ova metoda je prvi put uvedena u SunOS od strane Jeffa Bonwicka i sada se \u0161iroko koristi u kernelima mnogih Unix operativnih sustava, uklju\u010duju\u0107i FreeBSD i Linux.<\/p>\n<p>Osnova novog kontrolera le\u017ei u premje\u0161tanju pra\u0107enja slab s nivoa stranica memorije na nivo objekata jezgra, \u0161to omogu\u0107ava zajedni\u010dko kori\u0161tenje jedne slab-stranice u razli\u010ditim cgroup, umjesto odvajanja posebnog ke\u0161a za svaku cgroup.<\/p>\n<p>Prema rezultatima ispitivanja, predlo\u017eena metoda upravljanja memorijom omogu\u0107ava pove\u0107anje <strong>efikasnosti<\/strong> kori\u0161tenja slaba <strong>do 45%<\/strong>, a tako\u0111er smanjuje ukupnu potro\u0161nju memorije od strane OS jezgra. Tako\u0111er, smanjenjem broja stranica dodijeljenih slab-u smanjuje se fragmentacija memorije u cjelini, \u0161to ne mo\u017ee ne utjecati na brzinu sistema.<\/p>\n<p>Novi kontroler se ve\u0107 nekoliko mjeseci testira na radnim poslu\u017eiteljima Facebooka, i za sada se ovo testiranje mo\u017ee smatrati uspje\u0161nim: bez gubitka u performansama i pove\u0107anja broja gre\u0161aka, primije\u0107eno je jasno smanjenje potro\u0161nje memorije \u2014 na nekim poslu\u017eiteljima do 1 GB. Ova brojka je prili\u010dno subjektivna, naime, ranije provedeni testovi su pokazali ne\u0161to manje rezultate:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>650-700 MB na web frontend-u<\/li>\n<li>750-800 MB na serveru s
