Glavna realizacija ovog protokola je messenger koji podr\u017eava VoIP signalizaciju, ali su mogu\u0107i i drugi prikazi, s obzirom na to da je to protokol op\u0107e namjene.<\/p>\n<p><noindex><\/p>\n<p>Glavna promjena izdanih klijenata za <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/vector-im\/riot-web\/releases\/tag\/v1.6.0\">preglednik i Electron omota\u010d (1.6.0)<\/a>, <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/vector-im\/riotX-android\/releases\/tag\/v0.19.0\">Android (0.19.0)<\/a> i <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/vector-im\/riot-ios\/releases\/tag\/v0.11.2\">iOS (0.11.1-0.11.2)<\/a> bila je uklju\u010divanje end-to-end enkripcije za privatne razgovore po defaultu. Enkripcija je mogu\u0107a zahvaljuju\u0107i protokolu <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/gitlab.matrix.org\/matrix-org\/olm\/blob\/master\/docs\/olm.md\">Olm<\/a>, temeljenom na protokolu messengera Signal. Enkripcija grupnih razgovora koristi pro\u0161irenje protokola pod nazivom <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/gitlab.matrix.org\/matrix-org\/olm\/-\/blob\/master\/docs\/megolm.md\">Megolm<\/a>, koje omogu\u0107uje de\u0161ifriranje poruka vi\u0161e puta.<\/p>\n<p><\/noindex><br \/>\n<noindex><\/p>\n<p>Prvi put je opciona enkripcija <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/matrix.org\/blog\/2016\/11\/21\/matrixs-olm-end-to-end-encryption-security-assessment-released-and-implemented-cross-platform-on-riot-at-last\">predstavljena 2016. godine<\/a>. Uklju\u010divanje po defaultu u eksperimentalnim izdanjima dogodilo se tijekom FOSDEM 2020.<\/p>\n<p><\/noindex><\/p>\n<p>Od prvog izdanja realizacije enkripcije pojavile su se sljede\u0107e mogu\u0107nosti:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>klijent mo\u017ee zatra\u017eiti klju\u010deve za de\u0161ifriranje poruka od drugih klijenata korisnika ili klijenata sagovornika;<\/li>\n<li>postojalo je serversko skladi\u0161te za klijentske klju\u010deve enkripcije, osigurano tajnom frazom;<\/li>\n<li>osim verifikacije ure\u0111aja putem otiska (fingerprint), tako\u0111er je uvedena verifikacija pomo\u0107u emoji simbola.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>U budu\u0107nosti se planira uklju\u010divanje enkripcije po defaultu ne samo za privatne razgovore, ve\u0107 i za nepublicirane sobe uop\u0107e, uklju\u010duju\u0107i grupne.<\/p>\n<p>Tako\u0111er se spominje:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>uvo\u0111enje novog UI-a za enkripciju;<\/li>\n<li>verifikacija ure\u0111aja putem QR kodova;<\/li>\n<li><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/matrix-org\/seshat\">pretra\u017eivanje historije enkripiranih poruka<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li>kona\u010dna stabilizacija rada.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><noindex><\/p>\n<p>Pretra\u017eivanje u enkriptiranim sobama ve\u0107 je dostupno pomo\u0107u <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/stoically\/radical\">Firefox pro\u0161irenja Radical<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><\/noindex><br \/>\n<noindex><\/p>\n<p>Kako bi olak\u0161ali rad s klju\u010devima \u0161ifriranja, programeri protokola Matrix predstavili su mehanizam nazvan \u201ekros-verifikacija\u201c (cross-signing). On omogu\u0107uje automatsku verifikaciju drugih korisni\u010dkih ure\u0111aja koriste\u0107i ve\u0107 potvr\u0111en ure\u0111aj. Kada ovaj mehanizam radi, dvama sagovornicima treba da verifikuju svoje ure\u0111aje samo jednom, a ne svaki ure\u0111aj ponaosob.
