Instalacijske slike RHEL 7.9  <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/access.redhat.com\/downloads\/\">su dostupne<\/a><\/noindex> za preuzimanje samo registriranim korisnicima Red Hat Customer Portala i pripremljeni su za arhitekture x86_64, IBM POWER7+, POWER8 (big endian i little endian) i IBM System z. Izvori paketa mogu se preuzeti iz <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/git.centos.org\/\">Git repozitorija<\/a><\/noindex> projekta CentOS. <\/p>\n<p>Grana RHEL 7.x odr\u017eava se paralelno s granom <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=50644\">RHEL 8.x<\/a><\/noindex> i bit \u0107e podr\u017eana do lipnja 2024. godine. Prva faza podr\u0161ke za granu RHEL 7.x, koja podrazumijeva uklju\u010divanje funkcionalnih pobolj\u0161anja, zavr\u0161ena je. Izdanje RHEL 7.9 pripremljeno je nakon  <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/access.redhat.com\/support\/policy\/updates\/errata\">prijelaza<\/a><\/noindex> na fazu odr\u017eavanja, gdje su prioriteti preba\u010deni na ispravljanje gre\u0161aka i sigurnosti, uz uvo\u0111enje manjih pobolj\u0161anja povezanih s podr\u0161kom va\u017enim hardverskim sustavima. <\/p>\n<p>Me\u0111u <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/access.redhat.com\/documentation\/en-us\/red_hat_enterprise_linux\/7\/html-single\/7.9_release_notes\/index\">promenama<\/a><\/noindex>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> A\u017eurirane su verzije nekih paketa (SSSD 1.16.5, pacemaker 1.1.23, FreeRDP 2.1.1, MariaDB  5.5.68);\n<li class=\"l\"> Dodani su EDAC (Error Detection and Correction) drajveri za Intel ICX sustave;\n<li class=\"l\"> Implementirana je podr\u0161ka za mre\u017ene adaptere Mellanox ConnectX-6 Dx;\n<li class=\"l\"> A\u017eurirani su drajveri (QLogic FCoE, HP Smart Array Controller, Broadcom MegaRAID SAS, QLogic Fibre Channel HBA Driver, Microsemi Smart Family Controller);\n<li class=\"l\"> Osigurana je podr\u0161ka za SCSI T10 DIF\/DIX (Data Integrity Field\/Data Integrity Extension) tehnologije i Intel Omni-Path Architecture (OPA).\n<li class=\"l\"> U jezgru su dodani parametri bert_disable i bert_enable za upravljanje uklju\u010divanjem BERT (Boot Error Record Table) u problemati\u010dnim BIOS-ima, kao i parametar srbds za uklju\u010divanje za\u0161tite od ranjivosti <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=53126\">SRBDS<\/a><\/noindex> (Special Register Buffer Data Sampling).\n<\/ul>\n<p>Na brzu ruku, tvrtka Oracle <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/blogs.oracle.com\/linux\/announcing-the-release-of-oracle-linux-7-update-9\">formirana<\/a><\/noindex> izdanje distribucije <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.oracle.com\/us\/technologies\/linux\/product\/overview\/index.html\">Oracle Linux 7.9<\/a><\/noindex>, temeljen na pakete Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.9. Za preuzimanje bez ograni\u010denja <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/yum.oracle.com\/oracle-linux-isos.html\">distribuira se<\/a><\/noindex> instalacijski iso-imid\u017e, veli\u010dine 4.7 GB, pripremljen za arhitekture x86_64 i ARM64 (aarch64). Za Oracle Linux tako\u0111er <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/edelivery.oracle.com\/linux\">otvoren<\/a><\/noindex> neograni\u010den i besplatan pristup yum repozitoriju s binarnim a\u017euriranjima paketa s rje\u0161avanjem gre\u0161aka (errata) i sigurnosnim problemima.<\/p>\n<p>Osim paketa s kernelom iz RHEL (3.10.0-1160), Oracle Linux dolazi s <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=52670\">izdan<\/a><\/noindex> proljetnim kernelom Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel 6 (kernel-uek-5.4.17-2011.6.2.el7uek), koji se nudi kao zadani. Izvorni kodovi jezgre, uklju\u010duju\u0107i raspodjele na pojedina\u010dne zakrpe, dostupni su u javnom <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/oss.oracle.com\/git\/?p=linux-uek.git;a=summary\">Git repozitoriju<\/a><\/noindex> Oracle. Jezgra se pozicionira kao alternativa uobi\u010dajenom paketu s kernelom koji se isporu\u010duje u Red Hat Enterprise Linux, te pru\u017ea niz  <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=38229\">pro\u0161irenih<\/a><\/noindex> <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=43644\">mogu\u0107nosti<\/a><\/noindex>, kao \u0161to su integracija DTrace i pobolj\u0161ana podr\u0161ka za Btrfs.
