A Tails 4.21 (The Amnesic Incognito Live System) specialized distribution release has been created, based on the Debian package base and designed to ensure anonymous network access. Anonymous access in Tails is provided by the Tor network. All connections, except traffic through the Tor network, are blocked by the packet filter by default. User data persistence between sessions is secured with encryption. An ISO image capable of running in Live mode, with a size of 1 GB, has been prepared for download.
The new release features updated versions of Tor Browser 10.5.4 and Thunderbird 78.12. The installer has fixed the issue of permanent data being deleted when clicking the 'Cancel' button during manual updating of the distribution.
At the same time, a new version of Tor Browser 10.5.4 has been released, focused on ensuring anonymity, security, and privacy. This release is synchronized with the Firefox 78.13.0 ESR code base, which resolves 10 vulnerabilities. The NoScript version has been updated to 11.2.11.
