November 24 and 25, after two months of development, the releases 2.2.0 and 2.2.1 of the console utility tree, designed for viewing directory trees. The program is written in C and is distributed under the GNU GPL 2 or later version.
Az új verziókban:
- added the option —opt-toggle to switch options like -a, -p, etc. Useful when using aliases;
- added the option —hyperlink to display files as hyperlinks, using the OSC 8 terminal command. Options —scheme and —authority were also added to change the scheme and hostname of links;
- it seems that the error message in JSON has finally been fixed when failing to open a directory and requiring full tree output. For example, when using —du;
- fixed a minor rounding error in human-readable size output (-h), when 9.99K was rounded to 10.0K instead of 10K;
- fixed the final report of directory sizes when using the -du option. The sum of sizes was correct, but the final report was summing the sizes of all directories instead of just the top-level directory sizes;
- a .gitignore file has been added to the distribution for those who need it;
- none was added as an acceptable parameter for the —sort option (equivalent to -U);
- added cross-compilation support for Android;
- returned the output of available encodings, if no argument is specified for the —charsets option;
- the —help and —usage commands use bold and italic attributes in ANSI if color usage is enabled (with the -C option);
- code cleanup and refactoring;
- fixed a regression when freeing a pointer;
- the fix for the HTML directory path href (with the -H baseHREF option) has been returned in a modified form, which was removed in version 2.1.2.
