Microsoft vállalat A Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) service that literally allows you to use Windows on an Azure virtual machine. The concept of a 'virtual desktop' essentially develops the popular trend of streaming gaming and video services, where the client only needs a low-powered terminal and internet access.

It is noted that the project has been launched worldwide at once. When using Windows Virtual Desktop, the user's location will be tracked, allowing data processing to occur at the nearest data center.
Initially, it was planned that the launch would take place in the USA, and then other countries would gradually be connected. However, it seems that the situation has changed. As stated by WVD's chief engineer Scott Manchester, there have already been orders for the beta version of the service from over 20,000 companies. Additionally, Microsoft Teams has received enhanced support within WVD.
It is noted that many companies are somehow moving their resources to the cloud. This allows savings on local specialists, as the system only needs to be set up once. From there, everything rests on Microsoft’s technical support. On the other hand, the availability of WVD and other services is critically important, as any disruption in internet connectivity or the cloud automatically leaves users without the ability to work.
It should be noted that the 'virtual desktop' allows the use of Windows 10 in a multi-session mode. Currently, WVD is the only option for such work. It is also noted that enterprises can access Windows 10 Enterprise and Windows 7 Enterprise on WVD without additional licensing costs (although they will need to pay for Azure usage) if they have the appropriate license for Windows 10 Enterprise or Microsoft 365.
