Video: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate running on a PC in the Yuzu emulator

A BSoD Gaming YouTube channel has published a video demonstrating the launch Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on PC via the Yuzu emulator, which recreates the 'innards' of the Nintendo Switch console. And while we aren't yet talking about 100% emulation, the game can at least be launched and somewhat played.

The fighting game runs at 48–60 frames per second on a configuration with an Intel Core i3-8350K processor, 16 GB of RAM, and an EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card. This frame rate is achieved with 2–4 players. Increasing the number of gamers understandably raises the load on the system.

It's important to note that Yuzu correctly renders Super Smash Bros. Ultimate this time. However, it is recommended to run an older version of the emulator, as the latest version has some graphical errors. The fighting game itself also suffers from bugs.

Considering that Nintendo has no plans to release Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on PC, this is the best way for computer players to try the project.

Letöltés the Yuzu emulator can be found on the official website.
