November 13, after more than a year of development, version 2.4.0 of the high-performance HTML5 and CSS parsing library was released. lexbor, written in C without third-party dependencies, and distributed under the Apache 2.0 license.
The library is divided into modules (Core, CSS, DOM, Encoding, HTML, NS, Punycode, Selectors, Tag, Unicode, URL, Utils), which can be compiled and used separately (with the CMake option LEXBOR_BUILD_SEPARATELY=ON).
The library has external bindings and wrappers for the Elixir, Crystal, Python, D, Ruby, and PHP languages.
