Kent Overstreet, a developer of the Bcachefs filesystem, submitted a pull request with fixes for Bcachefs proposed for inclusion in the 6.14-rc3 branch. Besides the information about the fixes, it was announced that the disk structure format of Bcachefs is being stabilized. Any further changes to the format will be categorized as optional and implemented as optional additions.
The fixes include: improved performance in read-only mode; resolving a use-after-free memory access issue; addressing reflink pointer problems in fsck; fixing transaction restart handling.
