A GNUnet seg\u00edts\u00e9g\u00e9vel l\u00e9trehozott h\u00e1l\u00f3zatoknak nincs egyetlen hibapontja, \u00e9s k\u00e9pesek garant\u00e1lni a felhaszn\u00e1l\u00f3k mag\u00e1n\u00e9let\u00e9nek v\u00e9delm\u00e9t, bele\u00e9rtve a lehets\u00e9ges vissza\u00e9l\u00e9sek kiz\u00e1r\u00e1s\u00e1t a hat\u00f3s\u00e1gok \u00e9s az adminisztr\u00e1torok r\u00e9sz\u00e9r\u0151l, akiknek hozz\u00e1f\u00e9r\u00e9s\u00fck van a h\u00e1l\u00f3zati csom\u00f3pontokhoz.     <\/p>\n<p>A GNUnet t\u00e1mogatja a P2P-h\u00e1l\u00f3zatok l\u00e9trehoz\u00e1s\u00e1t TCP, UDP, HTTP\/HTTPS, Bluetooth \u00e9s WLAN felett, m\u0171k\u00f6dhet F2F (Friend-to-friend) m\u00f3dban. T\u00e1mogatott a NAT \u00e1tugr\u00e1sa, bele\u00e9rtve az UPnP \u00e9s ICMP haszn\u00e1lat\u00e1t. Az adatok elhelyez\u00e9s\u00e9nek c\u00edmk\u00e9z\u00e9s\u00e9re elosztott hasht\u00e1bl\u00e1t (DHT) lehet haszn\u00e1lni. Eszk\u00f6z\u00f6k \u00e1llnak rendelkez\u00e9sre mesh-h\u00e1l\u00f3zatok telep\u00edt\u00e9s\u00e9re. A kiv\u00e1lasztott jogok biztos\u00edt\u00e1s\u00e1ra \u00e9s visszavon\u00e1s\u00e1ra a reclaimID decentraliz\u00e1lt azonos\u00edt\u00f3 attrib\u00fatumcsere szolg\u00e1ltat\u00e1sa ker\u00fcl alkalmaz\u00e1sra, amely GNS-t (GNU Name System) \u00e9s attrib\u00fatum-alap\u00fa titkos\u00edt\u00e1st (Attribute-Based Encryption) haszn\u00e1l.    <\/p>\n<p>A rendszer alacsony er\u0151forr\u00e1s-felhaszn\u00e1l\u00e1ssal \u00e9s t\u00f6bbprocesszoros architekt\u00far\u00e1val rendelkezik, amely biztos\u00edtja a komponensek k\u00f6z\u00f6tti elszigetelts\u00e9get. Rugalmas eszk\u00f6z\u00f6k \u00e1llnak rendelkez\u00e9sre a napl\u00f3z\u00e1sra \u00e9s statisztik\u00e1k \u00f6sszegy\u0171jt\u00e9s\u00e9re.
