A protokoll c\u00e9lja a sorban l\u00e9v\u0151 forgalom cs\u00f6kkent\u00e9se \u00e9s a jelenlegi s\u00e1vsz\u00e9less\u00e9gi korl\u00e1tok lek\u00fczd\u00e9se. Eddig a kil\u00e9p\u0151 csom\u00f3pontokon \u00e9s onion-szolg\u00e1ltat\u00e1sokon kereszt\u00fcli egyetlen adatfolyam sebess\u00e9ge 1 MB\/sek-re korl\u00e1toz\u00f3dott, mivel az elk\u00fcld\u00e9si ablak m\u00e9rete r\u00f6gz\u00edtett, 1000 cella adatfolyamonk\u00e9nt, \u00e9s minden cell\u00e1ban 512 b\u00e1jt adat k\u00fcldhet\u0151 (folyamat sebess\u00e9ge 0,5 m\u00e1sodperces k\u00e9sleltet\u00e9sn\u00e9l = 1000*512\/0,5 = ~1 MB\/sek).\n<p>Az \u00faj protokollban az el\u00e9rhet\u0151 s\u00e1vsz\u00e9less\u00e9g el\u0151rejelz\u00e9se \u00e9s a csomagok sor\u00e1nak m\u00e9ret\u00e9nek meghat\u00e1roz\u00e1sa \u00e9rdek\u00e9ben a Round Trip Time (RTT) alap\u00fa adat\u00e1tviteli id\u0151 \u00e9rt\u00e9kel\u00e9s\u00e9t haszn\u00e1lj\u00e1k. A v\u00e9gzett modellez\u00e9s azt mutatta, hogy az \u00faj protokoll alkalmaz\u00e1sa a kil\u00e9p\u0151 csom\u00f3pontokon \u00e9s onion-szolg\u00e1ltat\u00e1sokon cs\u00f6kkenteni fogja a sorban v\u00e1rakoz\u00e1s k\u00e9sleltet\u00e9s\u00e9t, megsz\u00fcnteti az adatfolyam sebess\u00e9g\u00e9re vonatkoz\u00f3 korl\u00e1toz\u00e1sokat, n\u00f6veli a Tor h\u00e1l\u00f3zat teljes\u00edtm\u00e9ny\u00e9t \u00e9s optimaliz\u00e1lja a rendelkez\u00e9sre \u00e1ll\u00f3 s\u00e1vsz\u00e9less\u00e9g felhaszn\u00e1l\u00e1s\u00e1t.
