Since the inclusion of ntfs3 in the 5.15 kernel in October last year, the driver has not been updated, and contact with the developers has been lost, leading to discussions about the necessity of classifying the NTFS3 code as 'orphaned' and subsequently removing the driver from the kernel.    <\/p>\n<p>Now developers have resumed publishing changes and have grouped together a set of accumulated patches. Preliminary patches were added and tested in the linux-next branch. The proposed patches fix bugs leading to memory leaks and crashes, resolve issues with executing xfstests, clean up unused code, and correct typos.
