A platformot szolg\u00e1ltat\u00f3k vagy mag\u00e1nh\u00e1l\u00f3zatok adminisztr\u00e1torai haszn\u00e1lhatj\u00e1k a forgalomfolyamok optimaliz\u00e1l\u00e1s\u00e1ra, a k\u00e9sleltet\u00e9sek minim\u00e1lis szinten tart\u00e1s\u00e1ra \u00e9s a s\u00e1vsz\u00e9less\u00e9g priorit\u00e1sok szerinti eloszt\u00e1s\u00e1ra. A projekt k\u00f3dj\u00e1t C, Python \u00e9s Rust nyelveken \u00edrt\u00e1k, \u00e9s GPLv2 licenc alatt terjesztik. A projektet Dave Taht ir\u00e1ny\u00edtja, aki a Bufferbloat projekt t\u00e1rsalap\u00edt\u00f3ja, a CeroWrt disztrib\u00faci\u00f3 l\u00e9trehoz\u00f3ja \u00e9s sz\u00e1mos, a h\u00e1l\u00f3zati sorok kezel\u00e9s\u00e9vel kapcsolatos RFC szerz\u0151je.      <\/p>\n<p>A LibreQoS cs\u00f6kkenti a k\u00e9sleltet\u00e9seket \u00e9s n\u00f6veli a megb\u00edzhat\u00f3s\u00e1got interakt\u00edv \u00fcl\u00e9sek, j\u00e1t\u00e9kok, online tanul\u00e1si platformok, VoIP forgalom \u00e9s videoh\u00edv\u00e1sok eset\u00e9n, k\u00fcl\u00f6n\u00f6sen nagy h\u00e1l\u00f3zati terhel\u00e9s alatt, p\u00e9ld\u00e1ul amikor egyes felhaszn\u00e1l\u00f3k t\u00f6bb sz\u00e1lon filmet t\u00f6ltenek le, vagy torrent-felhaszn\u00e1l\u00f3k akt\u00edvak (a LibreQoS megoldja a videoh\u00edv\u00e1sok akadoz\u00e1s\u00e1nak probl\u00e9m\u00e1j\u00e1t, amikor valaki a h\u00e1l\u00f3zaton bel\u00fcl 4K vide\u00f3t kezd let\u00f6lteni). A LibreQoS alkalmaz\u00e1sa cs\u00f6kkenti az egy felhaszn\u00e1l\u00f3ra jut\u00f3 cs\u00facs s\u00e1vsz\u00e9less\u00e9get, de jelent\u0151sen cs\u00f6kkenti a k\u00e9sleltet\u00e9seket \u00e9s igazs\u00e1gosan osztja el az er\u0151forr\u00e1sokat az \u00f6sszes r\u00e9sztvev\u0151 k\u00f6z\u00f6tt. Az elv\u00e9gzett tesztek sor\u00e1n a LibreQoS haszn\u00e1lata lehet\u0151v\u00e9 tette, hogy a k\u00e9sleltet\u00e9sek a fogad\u00e1si oldalon 106 ms-r\u00f3l 9 ms-ra, az \u00e1tad\u00e1sn\u00e1l pedig 517 ms-r\u00f3l 23 ms-ra cs\u00f6kkenjen, cser\u00e9be a folyamatos let\u00f6lt\u00e9s sebess\u00e9ge 74 Mbps-r\u00f3l 25 Mbps-ra, az \u00e1tviteli sebess\u00e9g pedig 29 Mbps-r\u00f3l 8 Mbps-ra cs\u00f6kkent.        <\/p>\n<p>A LibreQoS alapja a CAKE (Common Applications Kept Enhanced) h\u00e1l\u00f3zati sorkezel\u0151 rendszer \u00e9s az fq_codel (Fair Queuing Controlled Delay) csomag\u00fctemez\u0151 alkalmaz\u00e1sa, valamint eBPF \u00e9s XDP (Express Data Path) haszn\u00e1lata a h\u00e1l\u00f3zati vez\u00e9rl\u0151szint\u0171 feldolgoz\u00f3k v\u00e9grehajt\u00e1s\u00e1ra, k\u00f6zvetlen hozz\u00e1f\u00e9r\u00e9ssel a DMA csomagbufferhez. Az \u00e1llapot elemz\u00e9s\u00e9re webes fel\u00fclet k\u00e9sz\u00fclt, amely lehet\u0151v\u00e9 teszi a h\u00e1l\u00f3zati forgalom vizu\u00e1lis \u00e9rt\u00e9kel\u00e9s\u00e9t, a terhel\u00e9s \u00e9s a k\u00e9sleltet\u00e9sek v\u00e1ltoz\u00e1sainak nyomon k\u00f6vet\u00e9s\u00e9t, valamint a legakt\u00edvabb felhaszn\u00e1l\u00f3k azonos\u00edt\u00e1s\u00e1t.
