A Fedora developer working at Red Hat has introduced the SyncStar toolkit, which enables the deployment of services for creating bootable USB media of user-selected operating systems. The main purpose of SyncStar is to create kiosks and information stands that can be used at technical conferences and exhibitions for recording bootable images of various operating systems onto USB drives for participants of the events.
