A projekt k\u00f3dja C# nyelven \u00edr\u00f3dott \u00e9s MIT licenc alatt terjesztik.       <\/p>\n<p>Az OpenSilver projekt eredetileg arra ir\u00e1nyult, hogy eszk\u00f6z\u00f6ket biztos\u00edtson a megl\u00e9v\u0151 Silverlight alkalmaz\u00e1sok \u00e9letciklus\u00e1nak meghosszabb\u00edt\u00e1s\u00e1ra, miut\u00e1n a Microsoft 2021-ben le\u00e1ll\u00edtotta a Silverlight platform fejleszt\u00e9s\u00e9t \u00e9s karbantart\u00e1s\u00e1t, valamint megsz\u00fcntette a hozz\u00e1 kapcsol\u00f3d\u00f3 b\u0151v\u00edtm\u00e9nyek t\u00e1mogat\u00e1s\u00e1t a b\u00f6ng\u00e9sz\u0151kben. Az OpenSilver t\u00e1mogatja a Silverlight motor \u00f6sszes f\u0151bb funkci\u00f3j\u00e1t, bele\u00e9rtve a C# \u00e9s XAML nyelvek teljes t\u00e1mogat\u00e1s\u00e1t, valamint a platform API-j\u00e1nak nagy r\u00e9sz\u00e9nek implement\u00e1l\u00e1s\u00e1t, amely elegend\u0151 a C# k\u00f6nyvt\u00e1rak, p\u00e9ld\u00e1ul a Telerik UI, WCF RIA Services, PRISM \u00e9s MEF haszn\u00e1lat\u00e1hoz.    <\/p>\n<p>A jelenlegi form\u00e1j\u00e1ban az OpenSilver t\u00fall\u00e9pett a Silverlight \u00e9letciklus\u00e1nak meghosszabb\u00edt\u00e1s\u00e1ra sz\u00e1nt r\u00e9tegen, \u00e9s \u00f6n\u00e1ll\u00f3 platformk\u00e9nt tekinthet\u0151 \u00faj alkalmaz\u00e1sok fejleszt\u00e9s\u00e9re. P\u00e9ld\u00e1ul a projekthez fejleszt\u00e9s alatt \u00e1ll egy fejleszt\u0151i k\u00f6rnyezet, amely t\u00e1mogatja a C# nyelv \u00faj verzi\u00f3it \u00e9s a .NET platformot, valamint biztos\u00edtja a kompatibilit\u00e1st a JavaScript nyelv\u0171 k\u00f6nyvt\u00e1rakkal.    <\/p>\n<p>Az OpenSilver alapj\u00e1t a Mono (mono-wasm) \u00e9s a Microsoft Blazor ny\u00edlt forr\u00e1sk\u00f3d\u00fa projekteken alapul\u00f3 k\u00f3d k\u00e9pezi (az ASP.NET Core r\u00e9sze), \u00e9s a b\u00f6ng\u00e9sz\u0151ben a WebAssembly k\u00f6ztes k\u00f3dra t\u00f6rt\u00e9n\u0151 ford\u00edt\u00e1st alkalmazza.
