The performance gain from applying this optimization for TCP streams can reach up to two times.\n<li class=\"l\"> Under heavy load, the performance of the connect() function has been increased by up to two times by replacing spin-locking with the RCU (Read-Copy-Update) synchronization mechanism when searching for records containing information about the connection endpoints (source and destination ports). Additionally, hash optimization has provided a further performance increase of 229%. <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/hu\/lir\/ipv4\/\"   title=\"IP address\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"712\">IP address<\/a> The implementation of MPTCP (Multipath TCP), an extension of the TCP protocol for delivering packets simultaneously over multiple routes through different network interfaces associated with different IP addresses, has been accelerated. MPTCP in single-stream mode has been sped up by 29%.\n<li class=\"l\"> In netfilter, the execution of route search operations in FIB (Forwarding Information Base) has been halted in the presence of a socket. Thanks to this optimization, performance has increased by 20%.\n<li class=\"l\"> UDP performance in flood conditions has been increased by 10% due to the elimination of unnecessary operations with the sk_tsflags structure when receiving packets.\n<li class=\"l\">  Moreover, in the developing Linux kernel 6.15, a change has been accepted for the exFAT filesystem driver that accelerates file deletion operations. Previously, the exFAT driver individually sent 'discard' requests to the storage devices for each cluster released from the deleted file. The optimized version groups these requests, resulting in the deletion time for a test file of 80 GB being reduced from 286 seconds to 1.6 seconds.        <\/ul>\n<p>A Linux 6.15 kernel, currently in development, includes a change for the exFAT filesystem driver that speeds up file deletion operations. Previously, the exFAT driver sent 'discard' requests to the storage devices for each freed cluster of the deleted file individually.
