A h\u00e1l\u00f3zat tagjai megtal\u00e1lhatj\u00e1k egym\u00e1st BitTorrent-tracker seg\u00edts\u00e9g\u00e9vel vagy BitTorrent DHT, illetve m\u00e1s r\u00e9sztvev\u0151k (peer exchange) r\u00e9v\u00e9n. Az alkalmaz\u00e1s ingyenes \u00e9s ny\u00edlt forr\u00e1sk\u00f3d\u00fa VPN Hamachi alternat\u00edv\u00e1ja, Java nyelven k\u00e9sz\u00fclt (k\u00fcl\u00f6nb\u00f6z\u0151 komponensekkel C nyelven), \u00e9s a GNU LGPL 3.0 licenc alatt terjesztik.
