A coreutils t\u00f6bb mint sz\u00e1z seg\u00e9dprogramot tartalmaz, bele\u00e9rtve a sort, cat, chmod, chown, chroot, cp, date, dd, echo, hostname, id, ln \u00e9s ls parancsokat. A projekt c\u00e9lja egy multiplatform alternat\u00edv Coreutils megval\u00f3s\u00edt\u00e1s\u00e1nak l\u00e9trehoz\u00e1sa, amely m\u00e1sok mellett Windows, Redox \u00e9s Fuchsia platformokon is m\u0171k\u00f6dhet.     <\/p>\n<p>A Rust Coreutils haszn\u00e1latban van az AerynOS (Serpent OS) \u00e9s az Apertis disztrib\u00faci\u00f3kban, \u00e9s alap\u00e9rtelmezettk\u00e9nt alkalmazni fogj\u00e1k az Ubuntu 25.10 \u0151szi kiad\u00e1s\u00e1ban. A GNU Coreutils-al ellent\u00e9tben a Rust-os megval\u00f3s\u00edt\u00e1s MIT enged\u00e9lyez\u00e9ssel terjed, nem pedig a copyleft GPL licenc alatt. A Unicode karakterek, bele\u00e9rtve az emoji-kat, mostant\u00f3l haszn\u00e1lhat\u00f3k a tartalom \u00e9s param\u00e9terek feldolgoz\u00e1sa sor\u00e1n, p\u00e9ld\u00e1ul mez\u0151elv\u00e1laszt\u00f3k\u00e9nt: &#8216;echo &#171;&#127828;&#127839;&#129380;&#187; | cut -d&#187;&#127839;&#187; -f1&#8217;).\n<li class=\"l\"> A tr, sort \u00e9s cat eszk\u00f6z\u00f6k teljes\u00edtm\u00e9ny\u00e9t optimaliz\u00e1lt\u00e1k. A tr eszk\u00f6z teljes\u00edtm\u00e9nye 15-sz\u00f6r\u00f6s\u00e9re n\u0151tt \u2014 kor\u00e1bban ez az eszk\u00f6z 9,8-szor lassabb volt a GNU tr-n\u00e9l, most pedig 1,58-szor gyorsabb.         <\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> Jav\u00edtott\u00e1k a kompatibilit\u00e1st a GNU Coreutils referenciatest k\u00e9szlet\u00e9vel, amelynek sor\u00e1n176 sikeresen v\u00e9grehajtott tesztet (a kor\u00e1bbi
