Az EROFS szerkezete jelent\u0151sen egyszer\u0171s\u00f6d\u00f6tt a metainform\u00e1ci\u00f3k egyes ter\u00fcleteinek elhagy\u00e1s\u00e1val, mint p\u00e9ld\u00e1ul a szabad blokk t\u00e9rk\u00e9p. Az ilyen v\u00e1ltoz\u00f3kban t\u00e1rolhat\u00f3k az alap\u00e9rtelmezett ind\u00edt\u00f3part\u00edci\u00f3n haszn\u00e1lt adatainak.\n<li class=\"l\"> Hozz\u00e1adva az EFI GRUB k\u00e9pek ind\u00edt\u00e1s\u00e1nak t\u00e1mogat\u00e1sa NX (No Execute) v\u00e9dett m\u00f3dban, amely megakad\u00e1lyozza a nem enged\u00e9lyezett v\u00e9grehajt\u00e1s\u00e1nak jelzett mem\u00f3ria ter\u00fcleteken.\n<li class=\"l\"> Hozz\u00e1adva a Shim loader protokoll t\u00e1mogat\u00e1sa, amelyet a shim r\u00e9teg meger\u0151s\u00edtett bet\u00f6lt\u00e9s\u00e9re haszn\u00e1lnak UEFI Secure Boot m\u00f3dban.\n<li class=\"l\"> T\u00e1mogat\u00e1s ker\u00fclt bevezet\u00e9sre az UKI (Unified Kernel Image) egys\u00e9ges kernelk\u00e9pek bet\u00f6lt\u00e9s\u00e9hez, amelyek egyes\u00edtik az UEFI (UEFI boot stub) kernelbet\u00f6lt\u0151 mechanizmus\u00e1t, a Linux kernel k\u00e9p\u00e9t \u00e9s a mem\u00f3ri\u00e1ba bet\u00f6lt\u00f6tt initrd k\u00f6rnyezetet, amely a gy\u00f6k\u00e9r f\u00e1jlrendszer csatol\u00e1sa el\u0151tti inicializ\u00e1l\u00e1sra szolg\u00e1l.
