Christian was almost the only active maintainer of 16 GNOME modules and spent more than forty hours a week supporting and developing the GNOME stack. It is noted that after the move, his ability to participate in development will be significantly limited, and he will mostly focus on his family, new activities, and settling into his new home.        <\/p>\n<p>The reason for the move is cited as the new immigration policy of the USA (Chris's wife is originally from Tibet). Chris was employed at Red Hat, but the company rejected his request to keep his position after moving to France, despite providing evidence of risks to his family.         <\/p>\n<p>The list of
