A MOS projekt egy k\u00f6nny\u0171, modul\u00e1ris Linux disztrib\u00faci\u00f3t fejleszt a Devuan Linux alapjain, amely a h\u00e1zi szerverek kezel\u00e9s\u00e9re \u00f6sszpontos\u00edt. A projekt eredetileg 'saj\u00e1t magunk sz\u00e1m\u00e1ra' k\u00e9sz\u00fclt, de k\u00e9s\u0151bb t\u00fall\u00e9pett a szem\u00e9lyes c\u00e9lokon, \u00e9s nyilv\u00e1nos el\u00e9rhet\u0151s\u00e9get kapott. A jelenlegi 0.1.9-beta kiad\u00e1s csak UEFI m\u00f3dban val\u00f3 bootot t\u00e1mogat. Elk\u00e9sz\u00fclt az USB meghajt\u00f3k telep\u00edt\u0151 k\u00e9pe (354 MB) \u00e9s a virtualiz\u00e1ci\u00f3s rendszerekhez val\u00f3 ind\u00edt\u00f3k\u00e9p (348 MB). <\/p>\n

Az architekt\u00fara API-first elv alapj\u00e1n k\u00e9sz\u00fclt: a webes fel\u00fclet csup\u00e1n egy kliens a backend REST API-j\u00e1hoz, minden m\u0171veletet szerveroldali szolg\u00e1ltat\u00e1sok v\u00e9geznek el. Val\u00f3s idej\u0171 \u00e9rtes\u00edt\u00e9sekhez WebSocketek ker\u00fclnek felhaszn\u00e1l\u00e1sra. Az eredm\u00e9nyek AGPLv3 licenc alatt \u00e9rhet\u0151k el. Az alaptelep\u00edt\u00e9st\u0151l kezdve a MOS t\u00e1mogatja a mergerfs-t, amely lehet\u0151v\u00e9 teszi t\u00f6bb lemez egyes\u00edt\u00e9s\u00e9t egyetlen t\u00e1rol\u00f3pultra, valamint a SnapRAID-ot, amely parit\u00e1si ellen\u0151rz\u0151 \u00f6sszeg alap\u00fa adatv\u00e9delmet biztos\u00edt, snapshotok alkalmaz\u00e1s\u00e1val (n\u00e9pszer\u0171 kombin\u00e1ci\u00f3 h\u00e1zi m\u00e9diaszerverekhez, amely nem ig\u00e9nyel klasszikus RAID-et).
