The main question concerning the equipment BEFORE the start of the pilot is whether the complete set of equipment is present (including switches, data transmission cables, power cables). Is the equipment ready for testing (correct firmware versions, all under support, all lights green)?<\/p>\n

The correct sequence of actions after determining the testing goals is the complete preparation of the equipment for testing BEFORE handing it over to the client. Of course, there are loyal clients without urgency, but this is more the exception. That is, the complete set must be assembled at the partner\u2019s site, everything checked and assembled. The system must be launched, and you must ensure that everything works, software is distributed without errors, etc. It seems simple, but 3 out of 4 pilots start with searching for cables or SFP transceivers.
\nIt is important to emphasize that during the verification of the demo system, you must ensure its cleanliness. All data from previous testing must be removed from the system before handover. It is possible that testing was carried out on real data, which may include anything, including commercial secrets and personal data.<\/p>\n

Testing program<\/h3>\n

Before handing over the equipment to the client, a testing program that meets the testing goals must be prepared. Each test must have a measurable result and clear success criteria.
