Second beta release of FreeBSD 12.1. The FreeBSD 12.1-BETA2 release is available for amd64, i386, powerpc, powerpc64, powerpcspe, sparc64, armv6, armv7, and aarch64 architectures. Additionally, images for virtualization systems (QCOW2, VHD, VMDK, raw) and Amazon EC2 cloud environments have been prepared. FreeBSD 12.1 release del 4 novembre. Compared to the first beta version, bugs in fusefs, strip, mpr, mps, ping6, jme, bhyve uart have been fixed. The WITH_PIE and WITH_BIND_NOW build modes have been added. New commands ‘updatesready’ and ‘showconfig’ have been implemented in the freebsd-update utility. In camcontrol, the ‘devtype’ command is now operational when working with SATL devices.
