Lionsgate ha collaborato con Scottgames, Steel Wool Games e Striker Entertainment per annunciare Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted per PlayStation VR, SteamVR, Oculus e HTC Vive.
Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted sarà un adattamento VR del famoso horror. Scott Cawthon, creatore di Five Nights at Freddy's, vuole offrire ai fan del gioco nuovi modi per vivere la serie. Lionsgate ha scelto Steel Wool Games per sviluppare questo progetto perché sono fan del franchise e sanno come portarlo nella realtà virtuale. Lo studio ha sul suo conto giochi come Bounce, Mars Odyssey e QUAR: Battle for Gate 18.
"Da quando parliamo di realtà virtuale qui alla Lionsgate, sogniamo di portare Five Nights at Freddy's in realtà virtuale", ha affermato Daniel Engelhardt, vicepresidente senior di Lionsgate Interactive Enterprise and Games. “I giochi originali si adattano perfettamente alla realtà virtuale.
