Sono stati pubblicati i testi sorgente del progetto Kubegres, progettato per creare un cluster di server replicati con il DBMS PostgreSQL, implementato in un'infrastruttura di isolamento dei contenitori basata sulla piattaforma Kubernetes. Il pacchetto consente anche di gestire la replicazione dei dati tra i server, creare configurazioni ad alta disponibilit\u00e0 e organizzare il backup. Il codice del progetto \u00e8 scritto in Go e distribuito sotto la licenza Apache 2.0. <\/p>\n

Il cluster creato \u00e8 composto da un nodo primario pod di PostgreSQL e nodi pod secondari replicati in tempo reale, sincronizzati con il nodo primario. In caso di guasto del nodo primario, il sistema passa automaticamente uno dei nodi secondari a ruolo primario e cambia la configurazione della replicazione senza interruzioni. \u00c8 possibile configurare backup regolari del database in uno storage separato. La configurazione del cluster \u00e8 definita in formato YAML. Il contenuto dei nodi \u00e8 creato sulla base dell'immagine ufficiale del contenitore con PostgreSQL fornita dal progetto Docker. Il funzionamento del sistema \u00e8 stato considerato stabile ed \u00e8 gi\u00e0 applicato in implementazioni industriali.
