Nei nuovi rilascio sono state risolte tre vulnerabilit\u00e0, una delle quali (CVE-2021-25216) porta a un overflow del buffer. Su sistemi a 32 bit, la vulnerabilit\u00e0 pu\u00f2 essere sfruttata per l'esecuzione remota di codice da parte di un aggressore tramite l'invio di una richiesta formattata appositamente GSS-TSIG. Su sistemi a 64 bit, il problema si limita al crash del processo named.      <\/p>\n<p>Il problema si manifesta solo attivando il meccanismo GSS-TSIG, che pu\u00f2 essere attivato mediante le impostazioni tkey-gssapi-keytab e tkey-gssapi-credential. GSS-TSIG \u00e8 disattivato nella configurazione predefinita e viene solitamente utilizzato in ambienti misti, in cui BIND \u00e8 combinato con controllori di dominio Active Directory o durante l'integrazione con Samba.       <\/p>\n<p>La vulnerabilit\u00e0 \u00e8 causata da un errore nell'implementazione del meccanismo SPNEGO (Simple and Protected GSSAPI Negotiation Mechanism), utilizzato in GSSAPI per negoziare le modalit\u00e0 utilizzate dal client e <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/it\/server\/dts-prohoster\/\"   title=\"server\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"3007\">server<\/a> dei metodi di protezione. Il GSSAPI \u00e8 utilizzato come protocollo di alto livello per lo scambio sicuro delle chiavi tramite l'estensione GSS-TSIG, impiegata durante il processo di autenticazione degli aggiornamenti dinamici delle zone DNS.         <\/p>\n<p>Poich\u00e9 sono state gi\u00e0 trovate vulnerabilit\u00e0 critiche nell'implementazione integrata di SPNEGO, questo protocollo \u00e8 stato rimosso dal codice sorgente di BIND 9. Per gli utenti che necessitano del supporto per SPNEGO, \u00e8 consigliato utilizzare un'implementazione esterna fornita dalla libreria di sistema GSSAPI (disponibile in MIT Kerberos e Heimdal Kerberos).     <\/p>\n<p>Gli utenti delle versioni pi\u00f9 vecchie di BIND possono, come soluzione alternativa per bloccare il problema, disattivare GSS-TSIG nelle impostazioni (parametri tkey-gssapi-keytab e tkey-gssapi-credential) o ricompilare BIND senza supporto per il meccanismo SPNEGO (opzione &#171;&#8212;disable-isc-spnego&#187; nello script &#171;configure&#187;). \u00c8 possibile monitorare gli aggiornamenti delle distribuzioni alle pagine: Debian, SUSE, Ubuntu, Fedora, Arch Linux, FreeBSD, NetBSD. I pacchetti RHEL e ALT Linux sono compilati senza supporto integrato per SPNEGO.              <\/p>\n<p>In aggiunta, nei suddetti aggiornamenti BIND sono state eliminate altre due vulnerabilit\u00e0:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2021-25215 &#8212; crash del processo named durante l'elaborazione di record DNAME (che gestiscono la reindirizzazione di una parte dei sottodomini), causando l'aggiunta di duplicati nella sezione ANSWER. Per sfruttare la vulnerabilit\u00e0 su server DNS autoritativi \u00e8 necessaria la modifica delle zone DNS elaborate, mentre per i server ricorsivi. <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/it\/server\/\"   title=\"server\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"1576\">server<\/a> La registrazione problematica pu\u00f2 essere ottenuta contattando un server autoritativo.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2021-25214 &#8212; crash del processo named durante l'elaborazione di una richiesta IXFR formattata appositamente (utilizzata per la trasmissione incrementale delle modifiche tra server DNS). La vulnerabilit\u00e0 riguarda solo i sistemi che hanno abilitato la trasmissione delle zone DNS dal server attaccante (solitamente la trasmissione delle zone \u00e8 utilizzata per la sincronizzazione tra server master e slave ed \u00e8 selettivamente abilitata solo per i server fidati). Come soluzione alternativa alla protezione, \u00e8 possibile disabilitare il supporto per IXFR utilizzando la configurazione &#171;request-ixfr no;&#187;.    <\/ul>\n<p>Fonte: <a content=\"nofollow\"
