La modifica \u00e8 gi\u00e0 inclusa nella versione beta di Firefox 89 e nelle build notturne. Le opzioni precedentemente presenti nel menu Page Actions sono state trasferite in altre sezioni dell'interfaccia, rimangono disponibili nella sezione delle impostazioni della barra e possono essere collocate separatamente sulla barra come pulsanti. Questo menu \u00e8 stato aggiunto in Firefox 57 e includere elementi poco utilizzati o duplicava opzioni di altre parti dell'interfaccia. Dopo la rimozione dell'opzione per creare screenshot nell'ultima versione, il menu ha perso molto del suo significato (ad esempio, per segnalibri, clipboard e fissaggio delle schede sono disponibili elementi pi\u00f9 abituali, mentre le opzioni per inviare a pocket e via email non sono richieste da tutti).

Tra le altre modifiche all'interfaccia previste in Firefox 89, spicca la disattivazione predefinita dell'impostazione per attivare la modalit\u00e0 compatta della barra degli strumenti (inizialmente Mozilla intendeva rimuovere questa modalit\u00e0, ma gli utenti sono riusciti a difenderla), nuove icone, un nuovo design delle schede e dei suggerimenti a comparsa, una pulizia del menu principale, dialoghi modali riprogettati e una barra a comparsa per personalizzare la pagina di apertura della nuova scheda.
