La seconda categoria presenta la maggiore pericolosit\u00e0, poich\u00e9 l\u2019organizzazione di attacchi su difetti standard richiede impostazioni specifiche o l\u2019esecuzione di determinate azioni da parte della vittima. Tutte le vulnerabilit\u00e0 si manifestano indipendentemente dall\u2019uso di protocolli per garantire la sicurezza Wi-Fi, inclusa l'adozione di WPA3.    <\/p>\n<p>La maggior parte delle tecniche di attacco identificate consente a un malintenzionato di effettuare l'inserimento di frame L2 in una rete protetta, il che d\u00e0 la possibilit\u00e0 di infiltrarsi nel traffico della vittima. Tra gli scenari di attacco pi\u00f9 realistici viene menzionata la sostituzione delle risposte DNS per indirizzare l'utente verso l'host dell'attaccante. Viene anche fornito un esempio che illustra l'uso di vulnerabilit\u00e0 per eludere il traduttore di indirizzi su un router wireless e stabilire un accesso diretto al dispositivo all'interno della rete locale, o ignorare le limitazioni del firewall. La seconda parte delle vulnerabilit\u00e0, legata alla gestione dei frame frammentati, consente di estrarre dati sul traffico in una rete wireless e intercettare i dati degli utenti trasmessi senza crittografia.     <\/p>\n<p>\u00c8 stata preparata una dimostrazione da un ricercatore che mostra come sfruttare le vulnerabilit\u00e0 per intercettare la password trasmessa quando ci si connette a un sito tramite il protocollo HTTP non crittografato. Viene anche mostrato come attaccare una presa intelligente controllata tramite Wi-Fi e utilizzarla come base per continuare l'attacco a dispositivi non aggiornati nella rete locale, che presentano vulnerabilit\u00e0 non corrette (ad esempio, \u00e8 stato possibile attaccare un computer non aggiornato con Windows 7 nella rete interna bypassando il NAT).            <center><div class=\"youtube-placeholder\" data-id=\"88YZ4061tYw\" onclick=\"loadVideo(this)\">\r\n        <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/img.youtube.com\/vi\/88YZ4061tYw\/hqdefault.jpg\" alt=\"Riproduci video\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" style=\"width:100%;height:auto;\">\r\n        <div class=\"play-button\"><\/div>\r\n    <\/div><\/center>    <\/p>\n<p>Per sfruttare le vulnerabilit\u00e0, l'attaccante deve trovarsi entro la portata del dispositivo wireless target, per inviare un insieme di pacchetti formattati appositamente alla vittima. I problemi riguardano sia i dispositivi client e le schede wireless, sia i punti di accesso e i router Wi-Fi. In generale, come misura di protezione sufficiente \u00e8 consigliato l'uso di HTTPS insieme alla crittografia del traffico DNS tramite DNS over TLS o DNS over HTTPS. Anche l'uso di <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/it\/vpn\/\"   title=\"VPN\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"162\">VPN<\/a>.     <\/p>\n<p>Le quattro vulnerabilit\u00e0 pi\u00f9 pericolose nelle implementazioni dei dispositivi wireless consentono, attraverso metodi semplici, di iniettare pacchetti non criptati.  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Le vulnerabilit\u00e0 CVE-2020-26140 e CVE-2020-26143 permettono l'inserimento di pacchetti su alcuni punti di accesso e schede wireless in Linux, Windows e FreeBSD.\n<li class=\"l\"> La vulnerabilit\u00e0 VE-2020-26145 consente il trattamento di frammenti broadcast non criptati come pacchetti completi in macOS, iOS, FreeBSD e NetBSD.\n<li class=\"l\"> La vulnerabilit\u00e0 CVE-2020-26144 consente il trattamento di pacchetti non criptati ricostruiti A-MSDU con EtherType EAPOL su Huawei Y6, Nexus 5X, FreeBSD e LANCOM AP.   <\/ul>\n<p>Altre vulnerabilit\u00e0 nelle implementazioni sono principalmente legate a problemi che si verificano durante l'elaborazione dei pacchetti frammentati:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2020-26139: consente il reindirizzamento dei pacchetti con il flag EAPOL inviati da un mittente non autenticato (colpisce 2\/4 punti di accesso verificati, oltre a soluzioni basate su NetBSD e FreeBSD).\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2020-26146: consente la ricostruzione dei frammenti crittografati senza controllare l'ordine dei numeri di sequenza.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2020-26147: consente la ricostruzione di frammenti misti crittografati e non crittografati.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2020-26142: consente di elaborare i frame frammentati come frame completi (affetta OpenBSD e il modulo wireless ESP12-F).\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2020-26141: mancanza di verifica del TKIP MIC per i frame frammentati.    <\/ul>\n<p>Problemi nelle specifiche:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2020-24588 &#8212; In Linux, i problemi si manifestano nella rete wireless mac80211, in determinati driver wireless e nei firmware caricati sulle schede wireless. Per risolvere le vulnerabilit\u00e0, \u00e8 stato proposto un insieme di patch che copre lo stack mac80211 e i driver ath10k\/ath11k. Questo lungo periodo di embargo \u00e8 spiegato dalla coordinazione degli aggiornamenti e dai ritardi nella preparazione delle modifiche alle specifiche da parte delle organizzazioni ICASI e Wi-Fi Alliance. Inizialmente, era previsto rivelare le informazioni il 9 marzo, ma, valutati i rischi, \u00e8 stato deciso di rinviare la pubblicazione di altri due mesi per dare pi\u00f9 tempo alla preparazione delle patch, considerando la complessit\u00e0 delle modifiche e le difficolt\u00e0 derivanti dalla pandemia di COVID-19.     <\/p>\n<p>\u00c8 notevole che, nonostante l'embargo, Microsoft abbia gi\u00e0 risolto alcune vulnerabilit\u00e0 nel suo aggiornamento di marzo per Windows.
