Gli sviluppatori del progetto Android-x86, un'iniziativa della comunit\u00e0 indipendente per lo sviluppo del porting della piattaforma Android per architettura x86, hanno rilasciato la sesta versione stabile dell'assemblaggio basato sulla piattaforma Android 8.1. L'assemblaggio include correzioni e miglioramenti che ottimizzano le prestazioni di Android su architettura x86. Sono disponibili compilazioni Live universali Android-x86 8.1-r6 per architetture x86 a 32 bit (640 MB) e x86_64 (847 MB), adatte per notebook e tablet standard. \u00c8 stato inoltre preparato un pacchetto rpm per installare l'ambiente Android su distribuzioni Linux. <\/p>\n

Nella nuova versione \u00e8 stata effettuata la sincronizzazione con il codice sorgente di Android 8.1.0 Oreo MR1 (8.1.0_r81). Sono stati aggiornati il kernel Linux (4.19.195), Mesa (19.3.5) e i componenti del sistema audio ALSA (alsa-lib 1.2.5, alsa-utils 1.2.5). \u00c8 stata aggiunta l'utilit\u00e0 alsa_alsamixer e i file ucm (Use Case Manager) per l'autoconfigurazione dei parametri del sottosistema audio dei dispositivi mobili. Sono stati corretti errori accumulati e implementate nuove ottimizzazioni.
