Gli sviluppatori del progetto Android-x86, che consente allo stato indipendente della comunit\u00e0 di sviluppare il porting della piattaforma Android per l'architettura x86, hanno pubblicato il sesto rilascio stabile della build basata sulla piattaforma Android 8.1. La build include correzioni e miglioramenti che ottimizzano il funzionamento di Android sull'architettura x86. Sono disponibili build Live universali Android-x86 8.1-r6 per le architetture x86 a 32 bit (640 MB) e x86_64 (847 MB), adatte per l'uso su normali laptop e tablet. \u00c8 inoltre stato preparato un pacchetto rpm per l'installazione dell'ambiente Android nelle distribuzioni Linux. <\/p>\n

Nella nuova versione \u00e8 stata effettuata la sincronizzazione con il codice sorgente Android 8.1.0 Oreo MR1 (8.1.0_r81). Sono stati aggiornati il kernel Linux (4.19.195), Mesa (19.3.5) e i componenti del sistema audio ALSA (alsa-lib 1.2.5, alsa-utils 1.2.5). \u00c8 stata aggiunta l'utility alsa_alsamixer e i file ucm (Use Case Manager) per l'auto-configurazione dei parametri del sistema audio dei dispositivi mobili.
