Basandosi sul modello, il programma determina il piano di lavoro della stampante 3D durante l'applicazione sequenziale di ogni strato. Nel caso pi\u00f9 semplice, \u00e8 sufficiente importare il modello in uno dei formati supportati (STL, OBJ, X3D, 3MF, BMP, GIF, JPG, PNG), selezionare le impostazioni di velocit\u00e0, materiale e qualit\u00e0 e inviare il compito alla stampa. Sono disponibili plugin per l'integrazione con SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Autodesk Inventor e altri CAD. Per tradurre il modello 3D in un insieme di istruzioni per la stampante 3D viene utilizzato il motore CuraEngine. Il codice del progetto \u00e8 scritto in Python e distribuito sotto la licenza LGPLv3. L'interfaccia GUI \u00e8 stata sviluppata utilizzando il framework Uranium, che utilizza Qt 5.    <\/p>\n<p>Nel nuovo rilascio:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> In modalit\u00e0 anteprima \u00e8 stata implementata visualizzazione del flusso di materiale (flow).\n<li class=\"l\"> All'avvio \u00e8 previsto il caricamento dei plugin.\n<li class=\"l\"> Nello script FilamentChange \u00e8 stato implementato un parametro per definire la profondit\u00e0 (posizione Z) ed \u00e8 stata aggiunta la possibilit\u00e0 di utilizzare configurazioni Marlin M600.\n<li class=\"l\"> Un doppio clic sul file nella finestra di apertura progetto in Digital Factory ora porta all'apertura di quel file in Cura.\n<li class=\"l\"> Aggiunta la compatibilit\u00e0 con le stampanti 3D Volumic, Anycubic Mega X, Anycubic Mega ed eMotionTech Strateo3D, oltre a nuovi profili (Ultimaker PETG) e materiali.\n<li class=\"l\"> Aggiunta la possibilit\u00e0 di rinominare i gruppi nella lista degli oggetti.\n<li class=\"l\"> Risolto un problema di crash durante lo zoom, che si manifestava in alcune distribuzioni Linux.\n<li class=\"l\"> In modalit\u00e0 modellazione \u00e8 stata introdotta la possibilit\u00e0 di valutare il volume del materiale fornito (mm\u00b3\/secondo).\n<li class=\"l\"> Preparato un plugin per l'importazione diretta da CAD.
