Il filtro di blocco rigoroso \u00e8 solitamente definito a livello domini<\/a> e implica il divieto di qualsiasi connessione, anche con un accesso diretto tramite un link. La vulnerabilit\u00e0 \u00e8 causata dal fatto che durante il passaggio a una pagina soggetta al filtro di blocco rigoroso, all'utente viene mostrato un avviso contenente informazioni sul risorsa bloccata, incluso l'URL e i parametri della richiesta. Il problema \u00e8 che uBlock Origin analizza i parametri della richiesta in modo ricorsivo e li aggiunge all'albero DOM senza considerare il livello di annidamento. <\/p>\n

L'elaborazione di un URL appositamente formattato in uBlock Origin per Chrome pu\u00f2 causare il crash del processo in cui viene eseguita l'estensione del browser. Dopo il crash, finch\u00e9 il processo con l'estensione non viene riavviato, l'utente rimane senza protezione contro il contenuto indesiderato. In Firefox si osserva un'esaurimento della memoria.
