Sviluppato con il supporto della FreeBSD Foundation, sta emergendo un nuovo installer per FreeBSD, che, a differenza dell'attuale installer bsdinstall, sar\u00e0 utilizzabile in modalit\u00e0 grafica e sar\u00e0 pi\u00f9 accessibile agli utenti comuni. Attualmente, il nuovo installer \u00e8 in fase di prototipo sperimentale, ma pu\u00f2 gi\u00e0 eseguire operazioni di base per l'installazione. Per coloro che desiderano partecipare al testing, \u00e8 disponibile un'immagine iso di installazione in grado di funzionare in modalit\u00e0 Live. <\/p>\n

L'installer \u00e8 scritto in linguaggio Lua e implementato sotto forma di server http, fornendo un'interfaccia web.
