Per il prossimo rilascio del kernel Linux \u00e8 stata proposta una nuova implementazione di file server che utilizza il protocollo SMB3. Il server \u00e8 realizzato come un modulo del kernel ksmbd e completa il codice del client SMB gi\u00e0 disponibile.
