Nel kernel Linux \u00e8 stata individuata una vulnerabilit\u00e0 (CVE-2021-41073) che consente a un utente locale di elevare le proprie privilegi nel sistema. Il problema \u00e8 causato da un errore nell'implementazione dell'interfaccia di input\/output asincrono io_uring, che porta a una richiesta di accesso a un blocco di memoria gi\u00e0 liberato. Si segnala che il ricercatore \u00e8 riuscito a ottenere il rilascio della memoria a un offset specifico manipolando la funzione loop_rw_iter() da parte di un utente non privilegiato, il che rende possibile la creazione di un exploit funzionante.
