Patrick Volkerding ha annunciato l'inizio dei test per il secondo candidato alla versione del sistema operativo Slackware 15.0. Rispetto alla precedente versione di test, \u00e8 stato ricompilato il pacchetto python-markdown-3.3.4-x86_64-3.txz per correggere la build di Samba. Come spiega Patrick, versioni pi\u00f9 recenti di Markdown richiedono mportlib_metadata e zipp; l'aggiunta di questi corregge la build, ma curiosamente il file PKG-INFO installato mostra la versione 0.0.0, portando al sospetto che il problema possa derivare da setuptools. Dopo aver tentato di ricompilare tutti gli altri moduli Python per determinare se si trattasse di un errore pi\u00f9 generale, sono stati identificati solo due moduli Python che mostrano questo problema, e sono stati riscontrati altri report simili sulla questione (ma senza correzioni). Markdown-3.3.4 sembra essere una scelta sicura. <\/p>\n

Inoltre, \u00e8 stato ricompilato il pacchetto python-documenttils-0.17.1-x86_64-3.txz e aggiornati i pacchetti qpdf-10.4.0-x86_64-1.txz e bind-9.16.23-x86_64-1.txz. In libdrm \u00e8 avvenuto un rollback alla versione 2.4.107, poich\u00e9 la versione 2.4.108 non sembra essere completamente compatibile con xorg-server-1.20.13 e, inoltre, risolve l'impossibilit\u00e0 di compilare xf86-video-vmware dal codice sorgente.
