Si consiglia agli utenti dei pacchetti problematici di installare urgentemente gli aggiornamenti rilasciati per loro, aggiornando separatamente la versione di Log4j 2 o impostando il parametro Log4j2.formatMsgNoLookups su true (ad esempio, aggiungendo il flag «-DLog4j2.formatMsgNoLookup=True» all'avvio). Per bloccare la vulnerabilit\u00e0 su sistemi a cui non si ha accesso diretto, \u00e8 stata proposta una sorta di exploit-vaccino chiamata Logout4Shell, che attraverso un attacco imposta le configurazioni Java «log4j2.formatMsgNoLookups = true», «com.sun.jndi.rmi.object.trustURLCodebase = false» e «com.sun.jndi.cosnaming.object.trustURLCodebase = false» per fermare ulteriori manifestazioni della vulnerabilit\u00e0 su sistemi non controllati. <\/p>\n
Negli ultimi giorni si \u00e8 registrato un significativo aumento dell'attivit\u00e0 legata all'esploitazione della vulnerabilit\u00e0. Ad esempio, la societ\u00e0 Check Point ha rilevato nelle sue reti server<\/a> picchi di circa 100 tentativi di sfruttamento al minuto, mentre la societ\u00e0 Sophos ha segnalato la scoperta di un
