Invece dei livelli di avvio (runlevel), s6-rc propone un concetto pi\u00f9 universale di bundle, che consente di raggruppare i servizi in base a criteri e compiti arbitrari. Per migliorare l'efficienza operativa, viene utilizzato un database di dipendenze compilato, creato dallo strumento s6-rc-compile in base al contenuto delle directory contenenti i file per avviare\/fermare i servizi. Tra i vantaggi di s6-rc, si evidenzia una realizzazione compatta, priva di elementi superflui, che include solo i componenti necessari per risolvere compiti specifici, consumando il minimo di risorse. A differenza di altri gestori di servizi, s6-rc supporta la costruzione proattiva (in modalit\u00e0 offline) del grafo delle dipendenze per il set di servizi esistente, permettendo di effettuare un'analisi delle dipendenze ad alto consumo di risorse separatamente, piuttosto che durante il caricamento o il cambiamento di stato. Inoltre, il sistema non \u00e8 monolitico, ma \u00e8 suddiviso in una serie di moduli distinti e sostituibili, ognuno dei quali, secondo la filosofia Unix, si occupa solo di una specifica funzione. <\/p>\n
