\u00c8 stata pubblicata la versione del sistema operativo Slackel 7.5, costruita sulle basi dei progetti Slackware e Salix, ed \u00e8 completamente compatibile con i repository forniti da questi ultimi. La caratteristica principale di Slackel \u00e8 l'uso di una branch di Slackware-Current sempre aggiornata. L'ambiente grafico si basa sul window manager Openbox. La dimensione dell'immagine di avvio, che pu\u00f2 funzionare in modalit\u00e0 Live, \u00e8 di 2,4 GB (i386 e x86_64). Questa distribuzione pu\u00f2 essere utilizzata su sistemi con 512 MB di RAM. <\/p>\n

La nuova versione \u00e8 sincronizzata con il branch current di Slackware e viene fornita con il kernel Linux 5.15. Sono state aggiornate le versioni dei software, tra cui firefox 95.0.2, thunderbird 91.4.1, libreoffice 7.2.0, filezilla 3.56.0, smplayer 21.10.0, gimp 2.10.30. \u00c8 stata implementata la barra fbpanel e un insieme di applicazioni grafiche ausiliarie per la configurazione del sistema. \u00c8 supportata l'installazione della distribuzione su dispositivi USB esterni o SSD, per ottenere un ambiente di lavoro portatile. \u00c8 possibile aggiornare l'ambiente installato su supporti esterni e crittografare i dati degli utenti.
