\u00c8 uscito il primo candidato per le release del web framework e del sistema di gestione dei contenuti Zotonic. Il progetto \u00e8 scritto in linguaggio Erlang e distribuito sotto licenza Apache 2.0. Zotonic si basa sul concetto di organizzazione dei contenuti sotto forma di \u00abrisorse\u00bb (note anche come \u00abpagine\u00bb) e \u00abcollegamenti\u00bb tra di essi (\u00abarticolo\u00bb \u2014 \u00abriguarda\u00bb \u2014 \u00abtema\u00bb, \u00abutente\u00bb \u2014 \u00abautore\u00bb \u2014 \u00abarticolo\u00bb), dove i collegamenti sono a loro volta risorse di tipo \u00abcollegamento\u00bb (e il tipo di risorsa \u00e8 una risorsa di tipo \u00abtipo di risorsa\u00bb). <\/p>\n

Per la presentazione dei contenuti viene utilizzato un linguaggio di template preso in prestito da Django, mentre PostgreSQL \u00e8 impiegato come archivio di risorse. Per gestire le richieste viene utilizzato un fork di Basho Webmachine, basato su Cowboy. Lo scambio di dati bidirezionale tra server<\/a> e il browser avviene tramite il protocollo MQTT. Per migliorare le prestazioni, le pagine create vengono salvate nel sistema di caching Depcache. <\/p>\n

Uno dei principali ostacoli che bloccano la preparazione del rilascio della versione 1.0, l'autore lo definisce la necessit\u00e0 di una revisione della traduzione da parte di madrelingua (il lavoro di localizzazione viene svolto separatamente dallo sviluppo del codice sulla piattaforma Crowdin).
