Questa nuova release include correzioni da 66 sviluppatori.     <\/p>\n<p>Tra i miglioramenti realizzati in Glibc 2.35, si segnala:   <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stata aggiunta la supporto per la localizzazione &#171;C.UTF-8&#187;, che include le regole di ordinamento per tutti i codici Unicode, ma per risparmiare spazio \u00e8 limitata all'uso dei range ASCII nelle funzioni fnmatch, regexec e regcomp. La localizzazione occupa circa 400 KB, di cui 346 KB sono dati LC_CTYPE per Unicode, e richiede un'installazione separata (non \u00e8 integrata in Glibc).\n<li class=\"l\"> I dati delle codifiche, le informazioni sui tipi di caratteri e le tabelle di translitterazione sono stati aggiornati per supportare la specifica Unicode 14.0.0.\n<li class=\"l\"> Nel &lt;math.h&gt; e &lt;tgmath.h&gt; sono state implementate funzioni e macro che arrotondano il risultato a un tipo pi\u00f9 ristretto: fsqrt, fsqrtl, dsqrtl, ffma, ffmal, dfmal, fMsqrtfN, fMsqrtfNx, fMxsqrtfN, fMxsqrtfNx, fMfmafN, fMfmafNx, fMxfmafN e fMxfmafNx. Le funzioni sono descritte nelle specifiche TS 18661-1:2014, TS 18661-3:2015 e sono state aggiunte alla bozza del futuro standard C ISO C2X.\n<li class=\"l\">  In <math> and , functions and macros for finding the minimum and maximum of floating-point numbers with types float, long double, _FloatN, and _FloatNx are implemented, as described in the IEEE 754-2019 specification and added to the draft of the upcoming C standard ISO C2X: fmaximum, fmaximum_num, fmaximum_mag, fmaximum_mag_num, fminimum, fminimum_num, fminimum_mag, fminimum_mag_num.\n<li class=\"l\"> In <math>, constants for single-precision floating-point numbers have been added: M_Ef, M_LOG2Ef, M_LOG10Ef, M_LN2f, M_LN10f, M_PIf, M_PI_2f, M_PI_4f, M_1_PIf, M_2_PIf, M_2_SQRTPIf, M_SQRT2f, and M_SQRT1_2f.\n<li class=\"l\"> For the exp10 functions, corresponding macros not tied to specific types have been added to the  header file.\n<li class=\"l\"> In , the macro _PRINTF_NAN_LEN_MAX has been added, as proposed in the ISO C2X standard draft.\n<li class=\"l\"> Nella funzione della famiglia printf sono stati aggiunti i specificatori di formato &#171;%b&#187; e &#171;%B&#187; per l'output di numeri interi in rappresentazione binaria.\n<li class=\"l\"> Nel sistema di linking dinamico \u00e8 stato implementato un nuovo algoritmo di ordinamento DSO, che utilizza il metodo di ricerca in profondit\u00e0 (DFS) per affrontare problemi di prestazioni quando si gestiscono dipendenze circolari. \u00c8 stato introdotto il parametro glibc.rtld.dynamic_sort per scegliere l'algoritmo di ordinamento DSO, al quale si pu\u00f2 assegnare il valore &#171;1&#187; per tornare al vecchio algoritmo.\n<li class=\"l\"> Nell'ABI \u00e8 stata aggiunta la supporto per la nuova funzione &#8216;__memcmpeq&#8217;, utilizzata dai compilatori per ottimizzare l'uso di &#8216;memcmp&#8217;, nel caso in cui il valore restituito da questa funzione venga utilizzato solo per verificare lo stato di completamento dell'operazione.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stato aggiunto il supporto per la registrazione automatica dei thread, utilizzando la chiamata di sistema rseq (sequences riavviabili), fornita a partire dal kernel Linux 4.18. La chiamata di sistema rseq consente di organizzare l'esecuzione ininterrotta di un gruppo di istruzioni, non interrotta e confermando il risultato dell'ultima istruzione del gruppo. In sostanza, offre un mezzo per eseguire in modo atomico operazioni molto veloci, che, in caso di interruzione da parte di un altro thread, vengono annullate e si tenta nuovamente l'esecuzione.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stata aggiunta un collegamento simbolico a \/usr\/bin\/ld.so.\n<li class=\"l\">  \u00c8 garantita la compilazione predefinita di tutti i file eseguibili dei programmi incorporati e del set di test in modalit\u00e0 PIE (position independent executable). Per disattivare questo comportamento \u00e8 prevista l'opzione \u00ab--disable-default-pie\u00bb.\n<li class=\"l\">Per Linux \u00e8 stata aggiunta l'impostazione glibc.malloc.hugetlb, che consente di passare all'implementazione di malloc utilizzando la chiamata di sistema madvise con il flag MADV_HUGEPAGE per mmap e sbrk, o di utilizzare direttamente le pagine di memoria grandi passando il flag MAP_HUGETLB nelle chiamate mmap. Nel primo caso si pu\u00f2 ottenere un aumento delle prestazioni se le Transparent Huge Pages sono utilizzate in modalit\u00e0 madvise, mentre nel secondo caso si fornisce la possibilit\u00e0 di utilizzare le pagine grandi riservate dal sistema (Huge Pages).\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stata aggiunta la funzione _dl_find_object, che pu\u00f2 essere utilizzata per aggiungere informazioni sullo unwind dello stack delle chiamate.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stato aggiunto il supporto per l'architettura OpenRISC (or1k-linux-gnu) in modalit\u00e0 di gestione software delle operazioni in virgola mobile (soft-float). Per il funzionamento del porting \u00e8 necessario binutils 2.35, GCC 11 e il kernel Linux 5.4.\n<li class=\"l\"> Aggiunto il flag di compilazione \u00ab--with-rtld-early-cflags\u00bb, che consente di specificare ulteriori flag di compilazione utilizzati nella costruzione del codice iniziale per il collegamento dinamico.\n<li class=\"l\"> Per la piattaforma Linux \u00e8 stata aggiunta la funzione epoll_pwait2, che differisce da epoll_wait poich\u00e9 specifica un timeout con precisione nanosecondi.\n<li class=\"l\"> \u00c8 stata aggiunta la funzione posix_spawn_file_actions_addtcsetpgrp_np, che elimina le condizioni di gara nell'impostazione del terminale di controllo per un nuovo processo.\n<li class=\"l\"> Per le applicazioni compilate con Glibc e GCC 12+, \u00e8 implementata la modalit\u00e0 di protezione \u00ab_FORTIFY_SOURCE=3\u00bb, che rileva possibili overflow del buffer durante l'esecuzione delle funzioni di stringa definite nell'intestazione string.h. La differenza rispetto alla modalit\u00e0 \u00ab_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2\u00bb riguarda controlli aggiuntivi, che possono potenzialmente ridurre le prestazioni.\n<li class=\"l\">  \u00c8 stata interrotta la supporto per le estensioni Intel MPX (Memory Protection Extensions), utilizzate per verificare i puntatori contro il rispetto dei confini delle aree di memoria (questa tecnologia non ha avuto diffusione ed \u00e8 gi\u00e0 stata rimossa da GCC e LLVM).\n<li class=\"l\"> Il meccanismo prelink e le relative variabili di ambiente LD_TRACE_PRELINKING e LD_USE_LOAD_BIAS sono stati dichiarati obsoleti e saranno rimossi nel prossimo rilascio.\n<p>Vulnerabilit\u00e0 risolte:    <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2022-23218, CVE-2022-23219 \u2014 overflow del buffer nelle funzioni svcunix_create e clnt_create, causato dalla copia nello stack del contenuto del parametro con nome file senza il controllo delle dimensioni dei dati copiati. Per le applicazioni compilate senza protezione dello stack e che utilizzano il protocollo \u00abunix\u00bb, la vulnerabilit\u00e0 pu\u00f2 portare all'esecuzione di codice da parte di un attaccante durante l'elaborazione di nomi di file molto lunghi.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2021-3998 \u2014 vulnerabilit\u00e0 nella funzione realpath(), causata dal ritorno, in determinate condizioni, di un valore errato contenente dati residui non puliti dallo stack. Per il programma SUID-root fusermount, la vulnerabilit\u00e0 pu\u00f2 essere utilizzata per ottenere informazioni riservate dalla memoria del processo, ad esempio per ottenere dettagli sui puntatori.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2021-3999 \u2014 overflow del buffer a un byte nella funzione getcwd(). Il problema \u00e8 causato da un errore presente fin dal 1995. Per provocare un overflow, \u00e8 sufficiente eseguire una chiamata a chdir() per la directory \u00ab\/\u00bb in un namespace di montaggio separato.     <\/ul>\n<p>Fonte: <a content=\"nofollow\"
