Dopo pi\u00f9 di cinque anni dall'ultima importante release, \u00e8 stato pubblicato il rilascio della distribuzione Zenwalk 15, compatibile con la base di pacchetti di Slackware 15 e che utilizza un ambiente desktop basato su Xfce 4.16. Per gli utenti, questa distribuzione pu\u00f2 risultare interessante grazie alla fornitura di versioni pi\u00f9 aggiornate dei programmi, alla facilit\u00e0 d'uso, all'elevata velocit\u00e0 di funzionamento, all'approccio razionale nella scelta delle applicazioni (un'app per ogni compito), all'autosufficienza (non \u00e8 necessario installare nulla di aggiuntivo) e all'utilizzo del sistema di gestione dei pacchetti Netpkg.
