Contemporaneamente sono stati presentati aggiornamenti simili per Ubuntu Budgie 20.04.4 LTS, Kubuntu 20.04.4 LTS, Ubuntu MATE 20.04.4 LTS, Ubuntu Studio 20.04.4 LTS, Lubuntu 20.04.4 LTS, Ubuntu Kylin 20.04.4 LTS e Xubuntu 20.04.4 LTS.       <\/p>\n<p>Il rilascio include alcuni miglioramenti retroportati dalla versione Ubuntu 21.10:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Sono disponibili pacchetti con il kernel Linux versione 5.13 (su Ubuntu 20.04 viene utilizzato il kernel 5.4, su 20.04.2 \u00e8 stato aggiunto il kernel 5.8 e su 20.04.3 - 5.11).     <\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> Aggiornati i componenti del stack grafico, incluso Mesa 21.2.6, testati nella versione Ubuntu 21.10. Aggiunte nuove versioni dei driver video per chip Intel, AMD e NVIDIA. \u00c8 stato aggiunto il supporto per GPU AMD Beige Goby (Navi 24) e Yellow Carp.     <\/li>\n<li class=\"l\"> Aggiornate le versioni dei pacchetti snapd 2.51, open-vm-tools 11.3, cloud-init 21.3, ceph 15.2.14, OpenStack Ussuri, dpdk 19.11.10, ubuntu-advantage-tools 27.3.        <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Nelle build per desktop (Ubuntu Desktop) il nuovo kernel e lo stack grafico sono proposti per impostazione predefinita. Per i sistemi server (Ubuntu Server) il nuovo kernel \u00e8 stato aggiunto come opzione nell'installer. Ha senso utilizzare le nuove build solo per nuove installazioni: i sistemi installati in precedenza possono ricevere tutte le modifiche presenti in Ubuntu 20.04.4 tramite il normale sistema di aggiornamenti.        <\/p>\n<p>Ricordiamo che per la fornitura di nuove versioni del kernel e dello stack grafico viene applicato un modello di supporto rolling, secondo il quale i kernel e i driver retroportati saranno supportati solo fino all'uscita del prossimo aggiornamento correttivo della release LTS di Ubuntu. Ad esempio, il kernel Linux 5.13 proposto in questa versione sar\u00e0 supportato fino all'uscita di Ubuntu 20.04.5, nel quale sar\u00e0 proposto il kernel della distribuzione Ubuntu 22.04. Il kernel base fornito alla partenza 5.4 sar\u00e0 supportato durante l'intero ciclo di assistenza di cinque anni.      <\/p>\n<p>Per tornare a Ubuntu Desktop sul kernel base 5.4 \u00e8 necessario
